Dwight Howard is traded to Brooklyn Nets in deal for Timofey Mozgov

  1. I like that trade. The Brooklyn Nets have a lot of 2nd round picks, so losing 2 of them isn't all that bad. Not to mention that Dwight Howard is an expiring deal while Mozgov still has 2years. Also, this trade frees up some money in the next year 2019 Free Agency, and they can sign 2 max deals (But more realistic to say 1 because they need to re-sign RHJ and D'Angelo Russell.

And for Hornets, by doing this they get out of luxury tax. They also get 2x 2nd rounders, can be used to draft OR trade later. Trading Howard also means more Center rotation minutes for Cody Zeller and Willy Hernangomez.

I think Nets won this trade, but I don't think Hornets got robbed.

    1. You should retire that old stigma that the Nets are a bad team, they have good young players now.

Also, the Nets are discussing with Dwight Howard to buyout him so he can become a free agent.
