How to Use It (Video Tutorial)

Changes Compared to the NBA 2K25 File Browser

  • Fixed a bug where searching during model preview could cause the preview page to disappear.

  • Fixed a bug where duplicate files would still overwrite even if skipping was selected.

  • Improved handling of large zip builds by compressing and writing in batches to reduce memory usage.

  • Added a new right-click export function for quickly using different export methods.

  • When exporting multiple files in batches, the progress bar now shows total progress instead of an infinite loop.

FAQ

Q: Why does my exported file have an iff extension instead of zip?

A: This is normal. NBA 2K uses iff extensions even though the files are actually zip-encoded. When exporting, the File Explorer converts them into zip format internally, making them easier to edit or view.

  • You can simply treat the iff file as a zip archive.

  • Open it with tools like 7zip.

  • The iff suffix is only part of the file name and does not affect the actual format or encoding.
