Wilson to replace Spalding as NBA's game ball in 2021-22


The NBA contract with Spalding ends this season and the competition will change its balls for the first time in 37 years. To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the competition, NBA will join Wilson, who was the provider of the League in the first 37 years of history. The deal will also make Wilson the official ball of the WNBA, NBA G League, NBA 2K League and Basketball Africa League (BAL), according to Yahoo Sports. Wilson will be assisted by the NBA and the players union , which will create an advisory group to offer suggestions to the engineers, product designers and specialists who should manufacture the new balls.
