The Eurolegue is available for NBA 2K23 in both next-gen and current gen through the rosters created by the 2K community, especially with the PCBasket 2K23 project created by Shuajota.
The Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, or more commonly known as EuroLeague, is recognized as the most prestigious club competition in Europe. Currently, this competition is made up of 18 teams, 16 of which have long-term contracts. It´s controlled by the private company Euroleague Basketball and the first opening season was during the 2000-2001 season.
The EuroLeague was first introduced in NBA 2K14, when 2K Sports and Euroleague Basketball announced an exclusive multi-year agreement to add top teams to the game. This was the first time that European teams appeared in a video game developed by 2K, causing great fury among fans of this competition. Until then, the game only featured NBA teams so this was a great addition.
In NBA 2K15 the Euroleague roster was expanded from 14 to 25 teams as announced by 2K and Euroleague Basketball. The teams included were Brose Bamberg, Crvena Zvezda, FC Bayern Munich, Galatasaray, Lietuvos Rytas, Partizan and Zielona Gora, which joined those already included previously such as Anadolu Efes, CSKA Moscow, Olympiacos Piraeus, Panathinaikos Athens, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, etc.
For NBA 2K16, 2K Sports added 8 more teams from the 2015-16 season. Uniforms and logos would also be included in MyTEAM for the first time.
