In the NBA 2K26 1.4 update, 2K made the game load files faster, but at the cost of removing some features. For example, it no longer supports certain compression formats or iff subfiles with different endings. This tool helps fix those problems so your mods can load correctly in iff files.
To make your mods folder compatible with the new 1.4 update, all you need to do is drag and drop the folder onto this tool. It will automatically fix everything and make it fully compatible with update 1.4, just like you can see in the preview. Credits to Looyh.

ReplyDeleteHow do I get the global.iff file to go through the program instead of skipping from an error? It is for the net physics mod.
ReplyDeleteThis is not an error related to Looyh’s tool, the issue is connected to the version the modder used to edit it. Historically, the global files have never worked from one patch to another because it contains essential files that 2K updates regularly. The only solution is for the modder to use the global from patch 1.4 and share a new version built on that updated file.

Those files cant be fixed because they never worked from a previous patch. It´s not an issue of this mod. You have to wait for the modders that use the new files from the latest update for making a new version.
