As 2K prepares the next major release with NBA 2K27, MyCAREER continues to be one of the modes that generates the highest expectations among players. Over the past months, the community has actively shared detailed feedback on what they would like to see improved in the career mode. Recent discussions on X and other platforms highlight a consistent set of priorities, including greater social features, deeper storytelling, and a more flexible build system. 1. Co-op MyCAREER

One of the loudest and most consistent requests is the addition of co-op MyCAREER. Fans want to be able to go through the full career experience from the draft to winning championships with their friends online.

After running NBA 2K26 with my brothers, I I’m going to plead this, co-op MyCAREER needs to be in 2K27. Let us progress, compete, and build together. That would take the experience to another level. @CHoops4Life @Beluba @Dravved @LD2K

This feature would dramatically increase replayability and make MyCAREER feel more social and fun.

2. Better Story & Character Interactions

Players are tired of a shallow story mode. They want:

• More meaningful dialogue with teammates, coaches, and rivals.
• Branching storylines based on player choices.
• Stronger character development throughout the career.

Many feel the current storytelling is too basic and disconnected from the actual gameplay.

- Add more to the MyCareer story

3. Improved Build System

The build creation process continues to frustrate players. Top requests include:

• The ability to see Cap Breakers while creating the build.
• A less punishing and more flexible attribute system.
• Easier ways to experiment with different builds without wasting large amounts of VC.

Fans want the builder to feel helpful instead of restrictive.

MyCareer- Co-op my career mode to play with a friend and go through seasons.

MyTeam- Remove the WNBA players. Allow two people to collect cards with to try to complete collections and to be able to use their cards in at least PVE modes.

4. More Customization Options

Customization is another hot topic. Players are asking for:

• A wider variety of realistic hairstyles.
• More clothing and accessory options.
• Better overall character creation tools.
