NBA 2K27 Patch Notes 1.4 (September 3, 2026)

2K has dropped NBA 2K27 Patch 1.4, dated September 3, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. This is another targeted Early Access update focused on stability and quality-of-life improvements one day before the worldwide Standard Edition launch on September 4.

The developer note remains the same as recent patches: the team is prioritizing the most reported user-impacting issues. A larger set of fixes and improvements is still planned before Season 2.

What’s New in Patch 1.4

The City stability

Multiple stability fixes have been made across City game modes. Expect fewer crashes, hangs, or interruptions while playing in The City.

Friends list placement

The friends list now appears at the top of the Social Menu in lobbies. This makes it faster and easier to find friends and form squads without scrolling.

MyCAREER FIBA offseason fix

A potential progression blocker during the FIBA portion of the offseason in MyCAREER has been fixed. Existing saves that were stuck can now continue.

PC / Steam controller support

Steam users can now use the PS5 DualSense Edge controller. Full support has been added for the pro controller on PC.
