2K has released NBA 2K27 Patch 1.5, dated September 11, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. The update was scheduled around 2:00 AM PT. This is a bug-fix and stability patch. 2K confirmed there are no gameplay changes while the team continues to monitor games across modes and skill levels.
If you were waiting for badge nerfs, contest tuning, or another Takeover pass, that is not in 1.5. The bigger systems patch is still planned before Season 2.
What Patch 1.5 Actually Fixes
Crews
Crews no longer take an incorrect loss when an opponent quits during a Crew HQ Division match. That was one of the most frustrating competitive bugs after launch.
MyCAREER: Fire & Concrete and Co-Op
Several story and co-op issues are addressed:
- Some Fire & Concrete rewards could fail to grant on saves that had played Co-Op games. That is resolved.
- A possible blocker during the NBA Cup game in Chapter 7 of Fire & Concrete is fixed.
- In Co-Op, one player’s quest progression could incorrectly affect another player’s save. That cross-save leak is fixed.
- A blocker in the offseason after the FIBA period is fixed.
- A Rising Stars blocker after starting an Eras save and then switching to a modern-era save is addressed.
- A rare hang during the Hall of Fame speech is fixed.
MyTEAM / Breakout
A hang in Breakout that could occur when a lineup was deleted is fixed.

Who Feels This Patch Most
- Crew players: the quit-loss issue is the headline fix.
- MyCAREER / Co-Op players: this is the biggest story-progress patch since 1.3 and 1.4.
- Breakout grinders: deleting a lineup should no longer freeze the mode.
- Park / Rec / shooting meta: no on-court changes.
